Visiting Redwings this weekend - 26th-29th June

Due to their location in the red weather warning for heat, Redwings Ada Cole will be closed on Friday 26th June. We plan to be open as usual on Saturday 27th.

Redwings Caldecott and Redwings Aylsham remain open as usual, but will be continually monitoring the situation and may adjust our opening hours accordingly, so please check the Redwings social media pages for the most up-to-date information. If you are thinking of visiting Redwings this weekend please take care of yourselves in the heat.

Please:
•    Stay hydrated – water and refreshments are available on site.
•    Make use of our indoor and shaded areas.
•    Avoid prolonged time in direct sunlight, especially during the hottest part of the day.
•    Look out for signs of heat exhaustion (dizziness, headache, nausea).

If you feel unwell, please speak to a member of staff.

Our horse care teams (aka. our horsey heroes!) are working hard to keep our residents as cool and comfortable during the heatwave, and we are so grateful for all their hard work. This does mean that there may be changes to their availability for meet and greets and activities - but we hope you can understand they are prioritising the care of our horses, ponies and donkeys.

While Redwings is proud to be dog friendly, and we usually love seeing your pooches - we encourage you to keep them at home in the cool, and look forward to seeing them soon on a cooler day! Please DO NOT leave dogs in hot cars under any circumstances, thank you.
