Enjoy a visit to our Oxhill Visitor Centre, situated in gorgeous Warwickshire countryside and boasting some beautiful views across the county. The centre, which is a Visit England Quality Assured Attraction, offers a place of sanctuary to over 60 horses, ponies and donkeys, including fluffy donkey Arya and cuddly cob Rumpel.
Please note: Redwings Oxhill has reopened on a limited basis following major improvements to its horse care and visitor facilities. Some paddocks will remain closed while we complete the final stage of these works. Please keep an eye on our website and social media pages for the latest updates.
Situated in the gorgeous Warwickshire countryside, Redwings Oxhill is home to 60 rescued horses, ponies and donkeys, including the most friendly group of cobs known as "The Breakfast Club" because they’re all named after breakfast items!
Entry is free and dogs on leads are welcome!
After a walk around the paddocks, visitors can relax with a slice of cake and a warm cuppa, as well as enjoy a browse of our on-site gift shop. The proceeds of all sales go towards the care of our rescued residents.

The visitor facilities at Redwings Oxhill have recently been improved. We are now in the process of updating our access statement for the centre, but in the meantime if you have any queries about the site's accessibility, please call our team on 01508 505246.
If you would like to organise a visit on behalf of a community or youth group, please email education@redwings.co.uk so we can discuss your needs.
We do not charge for group visits, however you may wish to make a donation or fall in love with one of our Adoption Stars and choose to sponsor them! However you wish to support us, your help will ensure we can continue to take care of the lovely rescued residents you see on your visit, now and into the future.
If your group cannot visit in person, Redwings also offers virtual talks! We can offer the choice of a general Redwings talk about who we are and what we do, or a talk about general horse care as well as the specialist sanctuary care we provide our rescued residents.
The talk can be carried out via MS Teams or Zoom as you prefer (or contact us to discuss other options!).
We're happy to provide bespoke visits for schools and colleges at our visitor centres. Whether you're looking for a fun, educational day out for your pupils at the end of the school year, or you're a college with students studying animal or equine care, we can tailor visits for all ages and levels of knowledge.
Visits can include speaking to those who care for our rescued residents day-in, day-out, a chance to meet some of our horses and donkeys up-close, and hands on activities, subject to staff availability.
To enquire about a school or college visit, please email education@redwings.co.uk so we can discuss your needs.
We do not charge for visits, but many schools offer to fundraise for Redwings, sponsor one of our Adoption Stars or even write about us in their school magazines or social media to help raise awareness. All support helps our rescued residents continue to live happy and healthy lives at the Sanctuary.

Redwings Oxhill is home to a brand-new rehoming centre, including a stunning indoor school and state-of-the-art stables.
The new centre enables Redwings to rehome rescued horses across the centre of England for the first time, helping even more of our residents find loving new homes outside of the Sanctuary and providing the space for Redwings to help more horses in desperate need.
