Shalamar's Story

Shalamar is a handsome gelding looking for a home as a non-ridden companion.

Shalamar is a confident and gorgeous looking gelding with lots of character. He is a good boy to catch, lead and groom but he requires an experienced handler as he can be a bit cheeky at times.

He can be stabled but prefers to live out all year. He has been turned out with mares and geldings and he gets on well with other horses. He likes to be with his friends and he cannot be left alone.

Shalamar came to Redwings at a very young age after he was found looking exhausted and emaciated in appalling living conditions. Thankfully, he was found just in time and he made a great recovery. He is looking for a Guardian that acknowledges his difficult start in life and will embrace his cheeky and lovable nature.
