Nellie's Story

Nellie is a beautiful and sweet natured mare who loves fuss and being groomed. She can become worried by sudden changes to her routine or environment and she needs an experienced and confident handler who will not be phased by her concerns.

Nellie has been turned out with both mares and geldings and she cannot be without companionship. She prefers to live out all year, but she can adjust to coming in at night.

Nellie came to Redwings at a young age after she was found looking sad and exhausted in appalling living conditions. Thankfully, she was found just in time and she made a great recovery. She is looking for a Guardian that acknowledges her difficult start in life and will embrace her sweet and lovable nature.
