Kellogg's Story

Kellogg is a gorgeous boy who is looking for a new home as a non-ridden companion. He is a very sweet character who’s always pleased to see you. He loves fuss and attention and is good to handle. However, he can become stressed if left alone or when the vet visits. When he’s worried, he may get a little bargy, so he’s looking for an experienced, patient and understanding home.

Kellogg will stable, but he much prefers to live out all year round. He’s a clever boy and will soon spot if the electric tape fencing is turned off, so it will need to stay switched on to keep him safely in the field. He can live with mares and geldings, but he does need equine companionship, as he doesn’t like being left alone or behind. To maintain a healthy weight, he will need restricted grazing.

Kellogg came to Redwings when he was young. He was found underweight alongside many others, all living in unpleasant conditions. Despite this difficult start, Kellogg loves life and he loves people!

Kellogg is looking for an experienced and loving home where he’ll be regularly pampered and where someone will appreciate and enjoy brushing his beautifully long mane.
