Maddison's

Maddison is a sweet mare with plenty of character. She’s a brave girl who enjoys spending time with people and will thrive in a home where she receives regular interaction with her Guardian. As a young pony with a cheeky nature, she will be best suited to an experienced Guardian who can guide and enjoy her bold personality.

Maddison can be stabled overnight or live out all year. She has been turned out with both mares and geldings and has been respectful of our fencing. Like lots of us, Maddison is not a fan of muddy gateways in winter! But she will walk through them if absolutely necessary. She has always had a companion with us, so we are unable to say whether she could be left alone in her new home.

Maddison was part of a multi-horse rescue and was originally found by the RSPCA with a serious injury to her hind limb. Due to the severity of her injury and the uncertainty of her future needs, Redwings offered her a permanent home in our Sanctuary. She made an excellent recovery and, although she must never be backed or ridden, she now enjoys a very normal and happy life and has a lot of love and joy to give.
