Dora is a lovely pony who is looking for a home as a non-ridden companion.
Dora is good to handle, catch and lead but does require patience and consistency with leg handling and the farrier.
She can be left when her companion is taken out for short periods but we advise this is introduced gradually in a new home.
Dora can live out but is also happy to be stabled ,she does respect electric fencing.
Like most ponies of this type Dora is prone to gain weight and will need an experienced home that can help her to lose weight and maintain a healthy size.
Dora was rescued from a large-scale rescue, involving over 200 animals, including 123 horses. They were in very poor condition, with untreated veterinary issues and dangerous and unsuitable stables and fencing.
