Carmella's Story

Carmella is a sweet ball of fluff with an impressive moustache. Generally, Carmella has a calm and laidback nature but if she does find something a bit worrying, she will freeze and need reassurance from her handler.   

Carmella is friendly and relaxed with other ponies and remains quite low down in the pecking order. She currently lives out 24/7 but she has been stabled at night and she is happy either way.

Carmella is ataxic and she lives a normal life with us. Like all our Non-Ridden Companions, she should not be ridden.

Carmella came to Redwings when she was young. She was found living in the appalling conditions with many others horses all in need of veterinary attention.
