Some new Stars are coming!

We're delighted to announce that two new Adoption Stars will be joining the scheme very soon - and we'll be celebrating with special launch parties! We're keeping their identities a surprise for now so enjoy these mystery silhouettes...

Everyone is invited!

Redwings Oxhill, in Warwickshire, and Redwings Aylsham, in Norfolk, will be hosting special parties on Sunday 3rd August to introduce you to our new faces on the scheme.

Redwings Oxhill will be open as normal from 10am-4pm, but the following activities will be taking place:

11:30 Grooming Demo

12:00 Making treat balls for our new Star and their friends

2:00 Meet and Greet our new Star and their paddock pals, and see them tuck into some tasty enrichment!

Redwings Aylsham will also be open as normal, with their activities as follows:

11:30 Make enrichment and discover why is it so good for our rescued residents

12:30 Meet our new Star and see them enjoy a pampering groom

2:30 Hear more about their story, and the other residents at Redwings Aylsham in a special talk

If you attend the parties you will be the first to discover our new Stars, and we think you're going to love them! But, if you can't make it, don't worry! We'll be sure to update our social media pages with photos, and make the grand introductions online very soon!

How do we choose a new Adoption Star?

Choosing new faces to join the ranks as an Adoption Star is always a tricky process. We are looking for friendly characters, who will enjoy the fuss and attention that Star status brings. We also endeavour to choose horses who are unlikely to need to spend too much time away from home receiving any veterinary care as we know how much it means to their adopters to be able to meet (and cuddle!) them when they come to visit. Both our new Stars were suggested by the teams who know them best – their carers!
