Adoption Stars Timothy and Cain's birthday party cancelled

We unfortunately have made the decision to cancel Timothy and Cain's birthday party, which was due to take place on Sunday 9th August.

As you may be aware, the donkey duo have been at our Horse (and donkey!) Hospital so that Timothy can receive some veterinary care for a skin infection. Timothy has had a series of tests to ensure he receives the correct medication, as well as daily dressing changes to protect his skin from flies and provide a suitable environment for healing. As this treatment is still ongoing, we need to keep him at the Horse Hospital for a while longer, to ensure he is fully healed before he returns home to Redwings Aylsham.

Timothy remains bright in himself, and his best friend Cain has been sharing a stable with him for company. They have received five-star treatment from our wonderful Hospital Yard team, including some refreshing melon during the hot weather! We are sure they will make a fuss of the boys for their birthday, and will share some photos here soon.

We are so sorry for any disappointment caused by cancelling their party, but must prioritise Timothy's wellbeing. We hope to welcome them back to Redwings Aylsham soon.
