Richard's Story

Richard is a beautiful gelding who is looking for a new home as a non-ridden companion.

Richard is a sweet and sensitive gelding with plenty of personality once he gets to know you. He enjoys lots of attention and more than anything, he loves his food! He needs a confident Guardian who will handle and engage with him on a regular basis.

Richard requires constant equine companionship as he becomes very worried when he is left alone. Due to his big appetite, a strict diet is essential.

Richard came to Redwings after he and many others were found to be living in very unpleasant conditions. Sadly, many from this rescue didn’t survive but Richard is making the most of his second chance and he is looking for a Guardian to love and adore him as much as we do.
