Charlotte's Story

Charlotte is a gorgeous mare who is looking for a new home as a non-ridden companion.

Charlotte is a beautiful and very sweet mare, but she can find it challenge to trust new people. She is looking for a very kind and sympathetic Guardian, who would be willing to invest the time into becoming her new friend. This person should be prepared to help her overcome her nervous nature in her new home by spending time with her daily, gradually building her confidence and trust, especially when she is in a new environment. Charlotte will reward this effort by showing you what a sweetheart she really is, when given the time to shine.

Charlotte has been turned out with mares and geldings; she can pull faces when first meeting new ponies, but this soon settles. She can take time to catch if she feels worried and may need some encouragement. She is happy to come into a stable at night or she can live out all year round.

Charlotte's new Guardian must be willing to visit her two or possibly three times before she is rehomed, so we can be confident it’s a good match for everyone.

Charlotte was found in foal and was rescued as part of a group, on welfare grounds. Despite her difficult start in life, she was an incredible mum, and her son is now out in a Guardian home living his best life.
