Jersey's Story

Jersey is a special and beautiful mare looking for a home as a non-ridden companion.

Jersey is a sweet and sensitive mare who is looking to find her forever home. She is blind in one eye and understandably, this can cause her to feel nervous at times. Jersey benefits from regular interaction with her handler and she is looking for a kind and experienced home that will give her the confidence and reassurance she needs.

Jersey is happy to be stabled, but she prefers to live out. She can be turned out with mares or geldings, but she can be a dominant member of the herd.

Jersey came to Redwings after being found in a bad way and living in appalling conditions. She is now ready to start her next chapter in life where she will be loved and cared for by her new Guardian.
