Fran's Story

Fran is a friendly and sweet natured mare who is looking for a home as a non-ridden companion.

Fran is a good girl to handle and she enjoys one-to-one interaction with her Guardian. She likes being groomed and her current Guardian describes her as a calm, loving little darling who appreciates attention.

Fran has been turned out with both mares and geldings and she has been fine with this. She prefers equine companionship and she is best suited to a home where she is not left alone, however, she may cope with short periods of time by herself if this is carefully introduced and done gradually.

Fran came to Redwings looking tired, defeated and emaciated. Despite this difficult start in life, with a bit of care, love and kindness, she is now thriving and has proved to be a rewarding companion in her current home. Through no fault of her own, she is looking for another experienced and confident Guardian to give her the time and love that she deserves.
