Buy yourself a unique knitted horse or donkey and help care for our Amersham survivors!
Over the last few months, kind knitters and crafty crocheters have created a wonderful collection of adorable creatures which we’re selling to help raise money for our Amersham 10 fund.
Ten years ago, Redwings helped to rescue almost 100 horses, ponies and donkeys from the horrors of Spindle Farm in Amersham, Buckinghamshire. We offered safe, forever homes to 60 of the saved equines, as well as six foals born to rescued mares. And, incredibly, 58 are still with us today! Read the full Amersham story here.
Treating yourself to one of these lovingly made horses or donkeys, or buying them as a gift for a friend or loved one, is wonderful way to celebrate the happy lives our survivors now lead and to help us continue to care for them for the next 10 years. Amersham survivor Bungle (pictured above), who lives at our Caldecott Visitor Centre in Norfolk, certainly gave two hooves up to his knitted horse!
