Little Dorrit is a sweet mare with lots of character. She enjoys spending time with people and she will thrive in a home where she can have regular interaction with her Guardian. She would be best suited to someone experienced who can confidently handle and appreciate her bold personality.
Little Dorrit can be stabled overnight or live out all year round. She has lived with both mares and geldings and is respectful of fencing. As she has always had a companion, we cannot say whether she could be left alone in her new home. Her grazing will need to be restricted, and her weight monitored regularly to help keep her within a healthy range.
Little Dorrit came to Redwings at just six weeks old after being rescued from very poor living conditions. With a little TLC, she was soon racing around and playing with friends in the field.
If you can offer Little Dorrit a loving home with the fuss and attention she deserves, we would love to hear from you.
