On Tuesday 3rd November we picked up a generous donation of straw from our friends at Pleasurewood Hills, including six large bales and around 70 smaller bales, which will help bring comfort to our rescued residents this winter.
The straw was left over from the Lowestoft theme park's half term holiday activities, which inlcuded a pumpkin patch.
Andrew Fuller, Marketing and Sales Manager said: “We love the great work Redwings do and are very happy to support them with this donation. It has been a very challenging year for businesses and charity and we are proud to help how we can.
“Knowing that these beautiful animals are being helped is wonderful and we would recommend all to pay Redwings a visit when they are open to offer support”.
We were incredibly touched by this gesture as everything we do is funded by donations from the public. We’re entering our busiest time of year for care and the straw will certainly go a long way this winter.
We appreciate that this year has been challenging for everyone and we’d like to say a very big thank you to the lovely team at Pleasurewood Hills for their generous donation and for going out of your way to help and think of us at this time.
Thank you Pleasurewood Hills!
