Redwings Guardian organises fundraising Christmas Fayre

Christmas will be here before you know it, and once again Redwings Guardian Deirdre Bell has kindly organised a Christmas Fayre to help raise funds for our rescued residents!

The Christmas Fayre will take place on Sunday 5th November, from 10.30am to 3.30pm, at the Village Hall, London Road, Hertford Heath, near Harlow, SG13 7RH.

It’s the perfect opportunity to pick up some early Christmas gifts, and with over 20 stalls offering lots of unique gifts and treats, there’s sure to be plenty to choose from. There’s also a grand tombola with lots of fantastic prizes on offer, and it’s free entry to all.

Deirdre is the proud Guardian of Kizzy – a black Shetland pony who she rehomed from the Ada Cole Memorial Stables (before it became part of the Redwings Horse Sanctuary in 2005) over 20 years ago as a companion for her mare. Kizzy is still going strong at the age of 31 years!

This is the fourth successive year that Deirdre has held this event and so far she has raised £750 for Redwings, which could enable us to care for a field of horses for a full week and a half.

We hope as many people as possible will support this event!
