Following reports of a collapsed horse at the West Meadows site in Ipswich, a Redwings field officer attended the site today (16th February). The officer conducted a search of the site but did not find any collapsed horses.
This visit followed a similar visit by an RSPCA officer yesterday (15th February) who also did not discover any collapsed horses. They checked those horses on site who are currently under vet care and were satisfied with their findings.
Any welfare concerns must be reported directly to our welfare team on 01508 481008 or by emailing email@example.com. We cannot take reports via social media.
If anyone witnesses a collapsed horse or an animal in distress, please treat this as an emergency and contact the RSPCA’s 24-hour line on 0300 1234 999 without delay.
