We would like to reassure the public that we and other animal welfare organisations continue to keep a close eye on these horses at Paper Mill Lane in Bramford and thank them for raising concerns about their welfare. An RSPCA officer attended the site on Tuesday 22 November and confirmed that all horses at this site had food and water available.
RSPCA officers and Redwings attended a meeting in September regarding the welfare of horses, along with a representative of the landowner of the site, the tenant, the local council and the police.
Talks remain ongoing to establish a longer-term plan for the horses with the collaboration of the horses’ owner and more information will be shared with the public in due course.
Anyone with welfare concerns for any animal can call the RSPCA on 0300 1234 999 or our team on 01508 481008.
Please note, welfare reports cannot be taken via social media.
