Maya's story

Maya is a beautiful black Friesian mare who came to Redwings in 2010 with six other horses. The group had been found in terrible condition at a site in Essex; one of their friends had even passed away from neglect. Their owner was found guilty of causing suffering and all the surviving horses were signed over to Redwings. Maya has made a full recovery as you can see and she now lives at Redwings Aylsham, Norfolk. She is a very friendly girl, not to mention absolutely stunning. We think she looks just like Black Beauty!
