It's a little bit damp...
Due to weather conditions the paddock walkways at Aylsham are currently not accessible. The ground is very wet and muddy, so to help look after the land, we are not currently able to let visitors walk the site. We have also moved the horses onto a smaller number of paddocks. The horses are perfectly well and happy as they get lots of hay to eat, and have nice concrete pads and shelters to keep them warm and dry. We are very sorry for any inconvenience caused and we hope you will still consider a visit as you can still enjoy the beautiful views from the café (and the delicious cake!) and meet the horses in the stables.
We are very sorry to say that the Gangster Shetlands are currently at Hapton for the Winter as we have been having some problems with muddy conditions at Aylsham, and they only have little legs! They will return to Aylsham in the early Spring as soon as things dry out a bit.
Adoption star Gulliver is also not at Redwings Aylsham Visitor Centre at the moment. He’s been suffering from some lameness, so his carers have sent him to the Horsey Hospital at Redwings HQ in Hapton so that he can have a rest and a good check-up by the vets. He will be back as soon as he is feeling better.
For more information please feel free to call us on 0870 040 0033 or email email@example.com. Hooves crossed for better weather very soon!
