Visitor Centres around the country

You can visit us at one of five visitor centres around the UK, situated in Essex, Norfolk, Warwickshire and Angus, Scotland (opens early 2016). Entry is FREE as we want as many people as possible to be able to find out more about our work – we would love to see you soon! All our visitor centres in England are designated Quality Assured Visitor Attractions.

Ada Cole

Ada Cole Rescue Centre, Essex
Ada Cole Memorial Stables in Essex is a rescue centre established in memory of an amazing lady who campaigned for animal welfare. You can meet more than 50 rescued horses, ponies, donkeys and mules at the site.

Aylsham Visitor Centre

Aylsham Visitor Centre, Norfolk
Our new centre in Aylsham, North Norfolk is now open every week from Friday to Monday, and is home to gorgeous Gulliver and the Gangster Shetlands! We hope to see you soon!


Caldecott Visitor Centre, Norfolk
Our Caldecott Visitor Centre near Great Yarmouth in Norfolk has over seventy acres of paddocks and is home to some very special rescued horses, ponies, donkeys and mules.

Mountains Horse Sanctuary

Mountains Horse Sanctuary, Redwings, Scotland
Mountains is the newest member of the Redwings family, following a merger in January. It is home to 85 rescued horses and ponies in the gorgeous Angus countryside. The centre is currently closed to visitors but will reopen in early 2016.

Ox Hill

Oxhill Visitor Centre, Warwickshire
Oxhill Visitor Centre has been granted VAQAS status (Quality Assured Visitor Attraction) and is home to adoption equines Dylan, Rumpel, Major, the Oxhill Donkeys and dinky pony Wensley along with more than 50 rescued horses, ponies and donkeys.

Special events at Hapton Headquarters
Our Headquarters at Hapton in Norfolk is not normally open to the public. However, we open the gates for two weekends a year so you can have a chance to see behind the scenes and visit our specialist Horse hospital and our Re-homing centre.
