Opening Times

The centre is open daily from 10am throughout the year. Admission is free.

The next Bank Holiday Monday (May 26th) will see extra themed activities taking place at all three of our visitor centres, in Norfolk, Essex and Warwickshire. The day will centre around Redwings' re-homing team, including demonstrations of how we back our rescued horses and talks on how we get them ready to go out into their Guardian homes.

The Centre

The Ada Cole Memorial Stables became a new member of the Redwings family in October 2005 when the two charities merged, but it is one with a very long established reputation in the field of equine welfare.

There are around 50 horses, ponies, donkeys and mules at the site; while some are permanent residents, others are there for rehabilitation with a view to finding them caring foster homes. Following the closure of our Stonham Rescue Centre, the Ada Cole centre is now the permanent home of the four Stonham adoption equines Choccy, Katy, Harry and Finnegan. They have joined current residents Boo, Dolly, Rhadlon, Misfit and Louie and we know they would all love to meet you!

Facilities

There is a gift shop and information centre on site where you can adopt a pony, buy gifts or find out more about the horsey residents and the charity's welfare work.

Birthday Parties

We have a fantastic Birthday Party scheme for children visiting any of our centres. Just £25 buys a Party Pack complete with party invitations, a year's adoption of their choice for the birthday boy or girl (worth £8.50), a birthday gift box, a quiz pack, rosette and certificate. In addition, for a minimum of £3 a head we can provide party bags for all the party guests.
