Please remember that loaning a pony is a huge responsibility. We make no charge but we
ask that any potential guardians allow us to perform a rigorous home
visit before they can be considered for a Redwings horse or pony. We
will also check up every six months to ensure that the horse or pony
has settled in well and is receiving the correct care.
We will retain ownership at all times and reserve the right to take
back into our care any equine who we are concerned about, no questions asked.
Regardless of age, please note that some of Redwings’
ridden equines are recently backed so they may not be suitable for novice
riders. Also, if you are under 18, please ask an adult to fill out the application on your behalf.
All applications are taken online and once a horse or pony has received
a certain number of applications, it will be marked ‘Under Negotiation’
while we sort through the applications to find the best possible home
for that equine. You cannot apply for a pony that is Under Negotiation
but if no suitable home is found it may become available again in the
future.
If we feel you are suitable for the equine you have applied for, we
will ask you to undergo a home check to make sure you have the necessary
facilities for your chosen horse or pony. Once you have passed, you will then be invited to meet your chosen equine in its current location, and
hopefully create a match made in heaven!
