Redwings is looking for Volunteer Guides to help the charity open the birthplace of the Black Beauty author, Anna Sewell, to the public. The building - in Great Yarmouth, Norfolk - has recently been taken on by the charity.

We're proud to announce that we are the new guardians of Anna Sewell House – the birthplace of the Black Beauty author - in Great Yarmouth, Norfolk.

We will be holding an official opening on Friday 26th August and the historic property will be open to the public on days to be confirmed.

Redwings is celebrating after placing 21st in a top 100 'most loved' charities report.

Nicola Knight, Head of Communications and Campaigns at Redwings, said: “We definitely feel the love from our supporters, and I want to take this opportunity to say that the feeling is mutual.
