Donkey duo Wiggins and Wacko will be celebrating their joint 14th birthday this June with a big birthday bash at Redwings Aylsham. The party will take place on Sunday 10th June with celebrations starting at 11:30am.
Wiggins and Wacko’s big day will start with a groom, before they get to meet their adoring fans during their birthday parade. Then finally they’ll be treated to their very own birthday cake, topped with their favourite donkey-friendly treats – ginger biscuits, of course! Yum! You’ll have the chance to meet Redwings’ cheeky mascot Wings, join in with party games and test your knowledge with a donkey-themed quiz trail too!

After the party, why not spend a little time discovering the rest of the visitor centre which is home to over 70 other rescued horses, ponies and donkeys who’d also love a cuddle? We also have nature ponds and wildlife walks to explore.
Then once you’ve made a new long-eared friend, or two, stop by our café for a refreshing drink and tasty snack, before picking up a souvenir from our gift shop; all proceeds go towards the care of Redwings’ 1,500 rescued horses, ponies, donkeys and mules.
Redwings Aylsham, north of Norwich, is open every Friday, Saturday, Sunday and Monday, 10am to 4pm (closed Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Thursdays). Entry is free and dogs on leads are welcome.
