Volunteers help care for special memorial garden

Help was on hand from a group of volunteers who recently visited Redwings Ada Cole in Essex.

An enthusiastic team from design and consultancy firm Arcadis rolled up their sleeves and got stuck into a variety of roles during their day with us, including cleaning stable windows and tidying the signs around the visitor centre.

They also took on the special project of cleaning all the plaques in the centre's memorial garden, painting the memorial stand and then reinstalling all the sparkling clean plaques. We think it looks fantastic!

A huge thank from us here at Redwings to the Arcadis volunteers for all their wonderful help and support.

Volunteers play a vital role at Redwings and we welcome applications from both individuals and groups. If you’d like to find out more about volunteering with us and the wide variety of roles currently available, please click here.
