Enjoy some St Andrew's Day fun at Redwings Mountains

This St Andrew’s Day holiday, head to Redwings Mountains where we’ll be hosting a whole range of fun, free activities themed on all the thing we love about ponies!

Kicking off on Friday 29th November, you’ll have the chance to meet teeny Adoption Star Dayzee and her miniature pals, learn how we care for our new arrivals at the Sanctuary, find out about the hard work that goes into looking after our four-legged friends during the winter months and much more.

You can view the full schedule of activities here.

While you’re with us, there are plenty of other horse and donkey resident who we know would love a cuddle too! So why not pull on your wellies and take a stroll around the 220 acres of paddocks and woodland? There's an abundance of wildlife to spot, including red squirrels and mountain birds.

After nice walk, head to our café for a nice cuppa to help warm you up, as well as a delicious slice of cake. We also have a gift shop with a range of souvenirs, with all proceeds going towards the 1,500 rescued horses, ponies, donkeys and mules in Redwings’ care nationwide.

Redwings Mountains, near Forfar, Angus, is open every Friday, Saturday, Sunday and Monday, from 10am to 4pm. Entry is free and dogs on leads are welcome too!

We hope you can make it!
