We’re celebrating the May holiday at Redwings Mountains, near Forfar, with a series of fun-filled activities planned to keep the whole family entertained.
You’ll have a chance to meet horsey residents nose-to-nose, find out how we health check our horses during fascinating talks, and you’ll even have a chance to have a go at pony grooming yourself.

Adoption Star Gibson is especially excited as he will be celebrating his 4th birthday with a special party on Sunday 3rd June – and everyone is invited! Kicking off at 11.30, Gibson will be treated to a special groom before parading in front of his visitors and tucking into his very own birthday cake! There’ll also be party games to play and a quiz trail to enjoy.

With over 220 acres of beautiful paddocks and woodland, Redwings Mountains also provides plenty of opportunities for nature fans to spot wildlife, including red squirrels, deer and mountain birds.
Why not take a relaxing stroll and then put your feet up with a drink and a tasty snack in our café? There’s also a gift shop offering a wide range of souvenirs with all proceeds going towards supporting the 1,500 horses, ponies, donkeys and mules in Redwings’ care nationwide.
Redwings Mountains, in Milton of Ogil, Glenogil, is open every Friday, Saturday, Sunday and Monday, 10am to 4pm (Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday). Entry and parking are free, and dogs on leads are welcome.
