Autumn holiday at Redwings Mountains, Forfar

Do you love horses? Then drop in to Redwings Mountains this autumn holiday from Saturday 1st October for a series of fun-filled weekends celebrating all the great things about our four-legged friends.

Our Scottish visitor centre, near Forfar, Angus, will be hosting a wide range of “We Love Horses” themed activities where you’ll have the chance to meet some of the centre’s beloved rescued residents, as well as join in fascinating horsey health talks and even have a go at some pony grooming yourself!

Redwings Mountains is open every Friday, Saturday, Sunday and Monday, 10am to 4pm (closed Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Thursdays).

Redwings Mountains is set in 220 acres of beautiful paddocks and woodland providing a place of sanctuary for over 90 horses, ponies, donkeys and mules – not forgetting two sheep called Toffee and Treacle.

For the keen rambler and nature lover, the centre also boasts bountiful wildlife so keep your eyes peeled for red squirrels and mountain birds.

After a relaxing stroll, why not enjoying a warm cuppa and a slice of cake in our Nosebag Café followed by a browse around our gift shop? All proceeds go towards supporting the hundreds of horses in our care.
