Make a four-legged friend at Redwings Mountains this mid-term!

If you’re looking to entertain the family this mid-term, then head to Redwings Mountains, where you’ll be able to join in with a whole host of activities.

Over two weekends, you’ll have the chance to meet our “mini” residents, including adorable Adoption Star Dayzee (pictured above) and handsome cob Gibson, find out how we groom our ponies during special demonstrations and discover how we care for our residents during the winter months.

Activities kick off on Friday 14th February. Find the full schedule below:

“We Love Ponies”: Friday 14th February – Monday 24th February

After you’ve made a new four-legged friend or two, why not pull on your walking boots and ramble around Redwings Mountains’ 200 acres of beautiful paddocks and woodlands? There’s plenty of wildlife to see, including red squirrels and mountain birds.

After a busy morning outdoors, head to our café to warm up with a nice hot cuppa and slice of cake, or have a browse of our gift shop, filled with lots of lovely pony souvenirs. All proceeds go towards caring for the 1,500 rescued ponies, horses, donkeys and mules in Redwings’ care nationwide.

Redwings Mountains, near Forfar, is open every Friday, Saturday, Sunday and Monday, from 10am to 4pm (closed Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Thursdays). Entry and parking are free, and dogs on leads are welcome too.

We hope you can make it!
