Bring some cheer to a chilly February by popping into our Angus visitor centre and enjoying some pony-tastic fun over the mid-term holiday.
For three weekends, Redwings Mountains will be hosting a jam-packed schedule of family activities celebrating all the things we love about ponies.
You’ll be able to meet our adorable mini residents nose-to-nose, including our young Adoption Star Gibson. Members of the centre’s care team will also be on hand to show you how they look after our fluffy four-legged friends with a series of fascinating guided tours and talks.
There’s even a chance to have a go at pony grooming yourself!
The centre’s “We Love Ponies” activities will begin on Friday 10th February.

We Love Ponies: Friday 10th February to Monday 27th February
After enjoying plenty of cuddles with our pony residents, why not strap on your walking boots and explore Redwings Mountains’ 200 acres of beautiful paddocks and woodlands? There’s bountiful wildlife to discover, including red squirrels and mountain birds!
Our Nosebag Café will be ready to greet you with a warm cuppa and a slice of cake, plus there’s also an on-site gift shop offering a wide range of wonderful souvenirs you can take home and treasure with all proceeds going towards looking after the hundreds of horses, ponies, donkeys and mules in Redwings’ care nationwide.
Redwings Mountains, near Forfar, is open every Friday, Saturday, Sunday and Monday, 10am to 4pm (closed Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Thursdays). Entry is free and dogs on leads are welcome.
