Spotty Adoption Star donkey Dotty has got an exciting day ahead as she gets ready to celebrate her 4^th birthday with a big party. But the excitement doesn’t end there, because it’s also her very first birthday as an Adoption Star!

Whether you’re a massive Dotty fan, or just a donkey lover and want to be part of the fun, stop by Redwings Ada Cole on Sunday 29^th September where the party will be kicking-off at 11:30am!

The birthday girl will be treated to a lovely groom before meeting supporters during her birthday parade. To finish the day, she’ll get to tuck into her very own birthday cake, topped with ginger biscuits! There will be party games and Redwings’ mascot Wings will be making a special guest appearance too!

Dotty arrived at Redwings in 2018 after she was found with severely overgrown hooves that were causing her severe discomfort. After receiving the treatment she needed, her friendly personality soon shone through. Dotty joined the Adoption Scheme back in July, and has enjoyed settling into her new role and greeting her fans over the summer.

Once the party is over, why not take a stroll around the rest of the visitor centre and meet some of the other 80 rescued horses, ponies and donkeys, who would also love a cuddle?

There’s also tasty snacks and refreshing drinks to enjoy in our café, plus an on-site gift shop full of souvenirs for you to take home and treasure with all proceeds going towards caring for our residents.
