“We Love Horses” is returning to Redwings Caldecott, near Great Yarmouth, this half term with a jam-packed schedule of horsey-themed activities, perfect for the whole family.
If you love horses, then you’ll have the chance to discover how we groom our gentle giants with special demonstrations - and you can even have a go at pony grooming yourself! You'll also be able to get up close and cuddly with our rescued residents, including the visitor centre's tallest resident Adoption Star and Shire Cross Fox during meet 'n' greet sessions.
You can view the full schedule of activities here: We Love Horses: Friday 24th May to Monday 3rd June
And one very special horsey resident will also be celebrating her 10th birthday with a party on Sunday 26th May – and everyone is invited to join in the fun!
Starting at 11.30am, Adoption Star Victoria (pictured above) will be treated to a lovely groom before she parades in front of all her visitors and tucks into her very own cake! There’ll also be party games to play and a quiz trail to enjoy.
Take a look at Victoria’s full party schedule by clicking here.
While you’re visiting, why not take a look around our brand-new gift shop and Oliver's Café, based in Caldecott Hall? All proceeds go toward the 1,500 rescued horses, ponies, donkeys and mules in Redwings’ care nationwide.
Redwings Caldecott, in Beccles Road, Fritton is open every Friday, Saturday, Sunday and Monday, 10am to 4pm (closed Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Thursdays). Entry and parking are free, and dogs on leads are welcome.
We hope you can make it!
