This half term at Redwings Aylsham, north of Norwich, we are going crazy for horses with hoof-fuls of fun activities planned!
Get up close and cuddly to the visitor centre’s beautiful gentle giants, including handsome Thoroughbred cross Gulliver and our very own ‘Black Beauty’ Maya. Enjoy “Behind the scenes” tours, join in fascinating talks to find out how we care for our gorgeous horses and have go at pony grooming yourself!

It’s not just horses to see at Redwings Aylsham. We also have plenty of ponies and donkeys who would love to meet you for a tickle behind the ears too! Why not go for a relaxing wander around the paddocks or take in the sights along our beautiful nature walk?
The visitor reception will be also be running horse-themed activities, with horsey colouring and crafts to keep the little ones entertained. And don’t forget our fantastic play area!
There’s also a gift shop brimming with goodies and a delicious selection of food and drink in our Nosebag Café with all proceeds going towards supporting the 1,500 horses, ponies, donkeys and mules in Redwings’ care nationwide.
Redwings Aylsham, in Spa Lane, Aylsham, is open every Friday, Saturday, Sunday and Monday, 10am to 4pm (closed Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Thursdays). Entry and parking are free, and dogs on leads are welcome!
