Redwings was thrilled to welcome a new cohort of horses and ponies when we merged with the Society for the Welfare of Horses and Ponies (SWHP) in early 2019.

Our Redwings SWHP residents are now settling into their new home in Monmouthshire, where they will continue receiving the very best daily care. Like all Redwings residents, these horses and ponies will have a safe and loving home with us for life.  

Over the coming months, the Redwings SWHP team will be hard at work providing sanctuary care, rehabilitation and training for the horses at our new site. While the site is not currently open to visitors, we are pleased to offer a way for loyal SWHP friends and followers to help provide for the ongoing care of the horses at the centre.

How you can make a difference

With over 60 mouths to feed, providing farrier visits, veterinary care, daily health and welfare checks plus feed and medication is a costly but vital task. As such, we are extremely grateful for any donations towards caring for our family of Redwings SWHP horses and ponies.
