Celebrate with us at the Oxhill Rescue CentreJoin us for the birthday party of little Wensley on Sunday April 29th in Warwickshire - we would love to see you!Tiny miniature Shetland Wensley will be four years old on May 1st and to celebrate we will be holding a party for him at the Oxhill Rescue Centre where he lives on Sunday April 29th. You don't have to be a Wensley adopter to come along to his party, everyone's welcome and entry is free of charge.
Wensley was part of a large rescue that took place on a hot Summer's day in 2004, when Redwings rescued 72 horses and ponies from Lincolnshire. There were big stallions, tiny foals and everything in between. Wensley and his friends are named after different kinds of cheese. Wensley is actually short for Wensleydale, and his best friends are Edam, Gorgy and Mozzarella! Redwings Oxhill Rescue Centre in Warwickshire has a brand new café, gift shop and information centre on site and as well as Wensley's special birthday parade there will be activities and demos going on throughout the day. You will also have the chance to meet all Wensley's tiny friends and our brand new adoption donkey, Felicity! If you can't make it on Sunday 29th April, don't worry. The centre is open every day from 10am, all year round!
