Sydney's the star on Sunday 14th October

Lovely adoption cob Sydney turns 18 this week and we want you to help us celebrate!

On Sunday 14th October we will be celebrating Sydney's birthday with a special party at the Caldecott Visitor Centre in Norfolk where he lives, and we know he would love to see you!

Birthday boy Sydney!

You do not have to be a Sydney adopter to come along to his birthday party, everyone is welcome and as it's our last adoption party of the season we want to make it as memorable as possible - that means we need your help!

The day begins at 10am and there will be demos and tours going on throughout the day. At 1pm Sydney will have his birthday parade, complete with his own yummy horsey cake and the chance for all his friends to sing an extra loud 'Happy Birthday' song to him!

Sydney is an extremely handsome chap and one of the friendliest horses at Redwings! In fact, he is nearly impossible to photograph as he always comes straight over to say hello and ends up with his face in the lens! He is good friends with adoption ponies Ollie and Icky and they love nothing better than welcoming their adoring public to our Caldecott centre.

The centre has a café and gift shop on site and you will have the chance to meet more than 100 rescued horses, ponies and donkeys - they just love visitors! You can find out more about visiting Sydney and his friends by following this link to the Caldecott Visitor Centre pages of this site >>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>.

Alternatively, please telephone our visitor helpline on 0870 040 0033 for more details.

Did you know? Redwings also has visitor centres in Essex, Suffolk and Warwickshire? Two centres (Essex and Warwickshire) are open all year round and best of all, entry to all our visitor centres is completely free of charge!
