To provide and promote the welfare, care and protection of horses ponies, donkeys and, mules

Rhadlon's the star on Sunday August 19th!

This Sunday we will celebrate the birthday of handsome Rhadlon at our Essex centre.

This delightful adoption pony absolutely loves entertaining visitors and so on Sunday we will be celebrating his 18th birthday with a party at the Ada Cole Rescue Centre near Harlow where he lives. Entry is free and we would love you to join us!

Rhadlon was rescued from horrid conditions, having been shut in a stable for four years. He had been badly neglected and had terribly overgrown feet. It's hard to believe when you meet the happy and confident pony he is today!

Rhadlon loves to entertain his public

Rhadlon's special day begins at 10am with a special quiz going on during the morning. Then at 1pm it will be time for Rhadlon's birthday parade, where we all sing 'Happy Birthday' to him and help him and his friends enjoy his yummy horsey birthday cake!

In the afternoon there will be a guided tour of the site and with plenty of Rhadlon's friends to meet too, from Shires like Sapphire to Shetlands like Misfit, it promises to be a great day out!

The site has an information centre and gift shop as well as more than 50 horses, ponies, donkeys and mules to meet in beautiful surroundings. We also carry out re-homing from the centre and some of the current residents are looking for new homes through our Guardianship scheme.

You can even support our work by adopting Rhadlon or one of his friends for as little as £8.50 a year - click on the link to find out more >>>>>>>>>

Find out more about visiting us by telephoning our visitor helpline on 0870 040 0033 or going to the Visit Us pages of this site.

We hope to see you soon!
