New café and gift shop open at Oxhill!

We are delighted to announce the opening of a brand new café, gift shop and information centre at our Warwickshire visitor centre.

This very smart new building offers a lovely environment for browsing our gift selection, learning more about our welfare work and enjoying some refreshments in the café area.

We will now be able to offer hot snacks in the form of jacket potatoes and toasties as well as sandwiches, cakes and hot and cold drinks, and all the proceeds raised from food and gift sales go directly towards the care of our horses, ponies, donkeys and mules.

Oxhill Rescue Centre is our first site established outside East Anglia. It is home to adoption equines Dylan, Will and dinky pony Wensley (pictured above!) and more than 40 other horses and ponies. There are regular guided tours of the centre and demonstrations of horse care given by the equine centre staff. Entry is completely free of charge although donations are always welcome.

The centre is open every day from 10am and is situated on the A422 between Banbury and Stratford Upon Avon, just past the turning to the village of Oxhill itself.
