Twice as nice for Ollie and Dolly!Adoption ponies Ollie and Dolly will be celebrating their birthdays on Sunday June 10th at the visitor centres where they live, and everyone is invited. The only problem will be deciding which party to go to!Lovely pony Dolly lives at the Redwings Ada Cole Rescue Centre near Nazeing in Essex. This coming Sunday (June 10th) we will be holding a birthday party for this gentle girl and we would love you to join us. Entry is free and there will be activities going on throughout the day as well as a special birthday parade at 1pm for the star of the show. Look out for her best friends Troy and Henry too! The Ada Cole centre in Essex has an information centre and gift shop as well as more than 40 resident horses, ponies, donkeys and mules, many of which are looking for homes through the Redwings Guardianship Scheme. Find out more about visiting the Ada Cole centre here >>>>>> Meanwhile, at our Caldecott Visitor Centre near Great Yarmouth in Norfolk , it's the turn of Oliver Twist, a delightful little grey pony with a twisted muzzle. Ollie turned 16 last week and we will be celebrating by holding a party for him on Sunday. You don't have to adopt Ollie to come along to his birthday party, everyone is welcome and the more of you that come along, the louder his birthday song will be!
The centre is open from 10am to 5pm and at 1pm there will be a special birthday parade for Ollie, complete with horsey birthday cake and lots of cuddles for the birthday boy! Tours and activities will be taking place throughout the day, and it promises to be a great day out for all ages. All the money raised goes towards the care of your chosen resident and their friends and you will receive photographs and regular updates from the horse or pony plus a certificate of adoption.
