Oliver's birthday party has a twist!This Sunday we celebrate Oliver's party at our Caldecott Visitor Centre in NorfolkOn Sunday June 1st it's little Oliver's birthday and we thought we would celebrate with a party at the Caldecott Visitor Centre near Great Yarmouth in Norfolk, where he lives with all his friends. Oliver would love it if you could come along and join him on his special day - entry is free of charge and we would love to see you.
And there is more exciting news, as on Sunday we will also be launching our new Adoption Club at our Caldecott centre. The centre opens at 10am and during the morning there will be a horse care demo and a visit from our lovely mascots Red and Wings, before it's time for Oliver's special birthday parade at 1pm. The parade will also feature some of Oliver's friends and he will be enjoying a yummy horsey birthday cake, and meeting all his fans too! Adoption pony Oliver Twist is a very popular little chap who has a twisted face. The twist in his muzzle meant that he was left at a horse sale because no one wanted him, but fortunately, a kind lady rescued him and now he lives here at Redwings where we all make a huge fuss of him! On Sunday afternoon there will be a walking or tractor tour of the site with one of our friendly members of staff, which gives you the chance to find out more about the resident horses, ponies, donkeys and mules who live at our Caldecott site.
