Misfit's the star this week!

Popular adoption pony Misfit will celebrate his birthday on Sunday 8th July at the Redwings Ada Cole Rescue Centre in Essex and everyone's invited!

This lovely little Shetland turns 11 on Sunday and to celebrate we'll be holding a very special party for him - we would love to see you there!

The day will start at 10am, with a special birthday parade for cheeky Misfit at 1pm and various Walk and Talks and demonstrations throughout the day. Entry is free and the more guests who come along, the louder Misfit's birthday song will be! You do not have to adopt Misfit to join us for his party and we know he would love to see you!

Misfit the birthday boy!

The Ada Cole Memorial Stables became a new member of the Redwings family in October 2005 when the two charities merged and it has a long-established reputation in the field of equine welfare. There are around 50 horses, ponies, donkeys and mules at the centre - while some are permanent residents, others are looking for new homes through the charity's Guardianship Scheme. The centre has pleasant paddock walks and an information centre and gift shop on site.

Find out more about visiting the Ada Cole Rescue Centre by telephoning 0870 040 0033 or follow this link >>>>>>>>>.

Misfit was rescued by the RSPCA as a stallion. He was in a very poor state and the team at Ada Cole were happy to take him on and bring him back to health. He was gelded shortly after his arrival, but he is still a strong-willed character with a mind of his own! You can adopt Misfit or one of his friends for just £8.50 a year, simply follow this link >>>>>>> or telephone 01508 481010 to find out more.

We hope to see you soon!
