Redwings becomes official charity of websiteWe are teaming up with brand new website Manage My Horse to help horse owners to keep track of their beloved equines’ care regime in an easy, modern and cost-free way.Redwings was delighted to accept manage-my-horse.com’s invitation to become their official charity as we felt we both had one goal in mind – to help horse owners organise all aspects of their horses’ life to the best of their ability. If it is easier to electronically record and check all of your horse’s information as well as diary for reminders, store vital details and download free advice then we believe it will be easier for people to make sure their equines are getting timely and appropriate care in conjunction with routine veterinary care. Manage-my-horse.com was designed and built by committed horse owner and City Project Manager, Cate Ashton from Tunbridge Wells, Kent. Cate’s unique website allows equine owners to record almost every facet of their horse’s life in one place – breeding, training and exercise journals, farriery and hoof care, dental records, health, wellbeing, worming, vaccination and medical information, weight and condition scoring, competition records and all expenses and income. In addition there is a diary to store appointments, an address book for personal and business contacts and a forum to share thoughts, advice and experience with other owners. The feature-packed feed section allows members to manage diet and nutritional needs and the comprehensive reporting section gives downloads and printouts instantly. Best of all, the service is completely free of charge. Redwings’ Chief Executive Lynn Cutress said: “The concept of manage-my-horse.com gives out a strong message about taking responsibility for your horse and making sure they receive all the care it needs, which is totally in line with our educational messages as an equine welfare charity. We all have busy lives and manage-my-horse.com is a great way for owners to keep track of every aspect of their horse’s care regime quickly and at a time of day that suits them. There are also a number of Redwings welfare and advice leaflets on the site, written by our expert staff, which can be downloaded free.” Cate Ashton continues: “I chose Redwings as our official charity as I am supportive of the rescue and welfare work they carry out, as I know many other horse owners are. I am thrilled to think that this new free website helps people with their horses and ponies and is in turn supporting the help given to the less fortunate equines.” To find out more or to register click on to http://www.manage-my-horse.com.
