Party time for Katy at our Stonham CentreOn 29th July we are planning a birthday party for our special adoption pony Katy...and everyone's invited!Katy turns 17 this coming Friday so we are holding a birthday party for her on Sunday July 29th at the Stonham Rescue Centre in Suffolk where she lives. Throughout the day there will be loads of extra activities and games going on and at 1pm we will be having a birthday parade where you can sing Happy Birthday to this lovely pony and watch Katy and her friends enjoying her horsey birthday cake - yum!
Katy was rescued after she was discovered in a field with a nasty wound near her tail. The wound had been left without any treatment from a vet and Katy was extremely nervous of people. Katy was brought to Redwings and after lots of handling work she's now the friendliest pony you could ever hope to meet and so was a natural to join our adoption scheme! You do not have to adopt Katy to come along to her birthday party, everyone is welcome and entry is free of charge! The centre is open from 10am to 5pm and can be found on the A1120 between Stowmarket and Framlingham at the Stonham Barns site.
