Hapton Open Weekend

Redwings Hapton Estate has its summer open weekend on July 16 and 17 from 10am until 3pm. This is a very special centre with over 350 acres of paddocks in a beautiful setting and is well worth a visit.

The Hapton Estate is home to many of our infirm horses and houses our Equine Hospital with its special care paddocks nearby. It is also home to our new team dedicated to rehoming horses with a potential for life outside the sanctuary. The open weekend will include guided tours of the estate and the Equine Hospital.

Two of our adoption horses have been retired to Hapton, Ben and Willow, and their paddocks are close to our veterinary unit and special care facilities. Hapton also includes our Garden of Remembrance dedicated to the memory of beloved pets. The location is peaceful and allows for quiet reflection amongst nature and of course, horses.

Refreshments will be available during the weekend and visitors are welcome to bring a picnic.

Visits to this open weekend and to our Visitor Centres in Norfolk, Suffolk and Warwickshire are free in 2005. We hope that you will be able to come and see the work that we do and find out more about our vital equine welfare work carried out here and across the UK.

And if you can’t be with us next weekend, we will be holding another open weekend at our Hapton Estate on December 3 and 4, 2005. For more information on visiting us, call the Visitor Helpline on 0870 040 0033 or see the ‘Visit Us’ pages.
