Half-term fun at Redwings!Join us during half-term week for loads of activities, horsey demonstrations and some spooky Halloween fun!From Monday October 23rd to Sunday October 29th, each of our four visitor centres will be offering something a little bit different, so why not visit them all? The timetable for each centre is as follows:
Ada Cole Rescue Centre, Harlow, Essex Guided tours of the centre – 11.30am daily Horse care demonstrations on topics such as tacking up, lunging, grooming and long reining – 2.30pm daily. Plus a daily Pumpkin trail and apple bobbing
Caldecott Visitor Centre, Fritton, Norfolk Q&A session with the Equine centre team – 2pm, Thurs 26th October Horse handling demonstrations Tractor rides – daily (times may vary) Welfare talks –Saturday 28th October and Sunday 29th October Plus Pumpkin trail, Spot the Spooky hazard and apple bobbing, Redwings style!
Oxhill Rescue Centre, Warwickshire Guided tours of the centre – 2pm daily (also at 12 noon on Mon, Tues, Fri, Sat and Sun) Lunging demonstration – Wednesday 25th at 12 noon Grooming demonstration – Thursday 26th at 12 noon 'Pumpkin Trail' and apple bobbing
Stonham Rescue Centre, Suffolk Guided tour or grooming demonstration – 2pm daily Carriage rides – Thursday 26th October only Face painting – Sunday 29th October, 11am and 2pm (these times may vary) Plus Pumpkin trail, Spot the Spooky hazard and apple bobbing!
Please note that our Caldecott and Stonham centres will be closing for the Winter on 29th October and this will be the last chance to see your Stonham or Caldecott adoption equines until our Hapton Christmas Open weekend on December 2nd and 3rd. Our Ada Cole and Oxhill centres will be open throughout the Winter months from 10am daily (except Christmas Day, Boxing Day and New Year’s Day).
