Choccy's the birthday boy!Adoption star Choccy the donkey will be celebrating his birthday at our Stonham Rescue Centre in Suffolk on Bank Holiday Monday. This very handsome adoption donkey will be hosting his party on Monday August 29 and the more visitors who come along to sing happy birthday to him, the happier he will be! Choccy is a very beautiful donkey (and he knows it!) with extra-special stripey legs. He is particularly partial to a ginger biscuit and, truth be told, just loves to be the centre of attention!
Choccy’s birthday parade will take place at 1pm on Monday and there will all kinds of donkey-related activities going on through the day, plus walking tours of the centre and horse care demonstrations. Entry to the Centre is completely free and as an added bonus there will be even be an appearance from a mysterious equine who simply goes by the name of ‘Red’ and just loves to be cuddled…. Stonham residents also include Katy the pretty pony, Finnegan the handsome coloured cob and Harry the miniature Shetland. Stonham Rescue Centre is currently open seven days a week, 10am to 5pm.
