Ride out in style for Redwings!Have you ever fancied riding for miles across a beautiful private estate on your horse or pony? Yes? Well, what if we said you could do that and raise money for your favourite horsey charity at the same time? Even better? We thought so!On Sunday October 8th there is a Charity Horse Ride taking place at the Sandringham Royal Estate in aid of Redwings, and we would love you and your beloved neddy to join in. With miles of woodland and meadows to ride through, and only a limited amount of minor road work, the Ride is suitable for riders of all abilities and ages and will provide a wonderful opportunity to enjoy the stunning scenery of this beautiful Norfolk estate. The day begins at 10am and rides will be five, eight or ten miles long, depending on you and your horse’s level of fitness and your amount of free time of course! Entries received before October 1st cost £12.00 and every rider will receive a rosette for completing the course. Riders under 16 must be accompanied by an adult during the ride. Redwings Chief Executive Lynn Cutress is very excited about the day: “We are very grateful to our supporter Anne Holt and her colleagues for organising such an exciting event on behalf of Redwings and of course to Her Majesty the Queen for granting us permission to use the beautiful Sandringham estate. We hope as many people as possible can take part in the ride – the more the merrier!” To find out how you can get involved, please contact Redwings Community Fundraising Officer Linda Kerr on 01508 481018 or email lkerr@redwings.co.uk We look forward to seeing you there!
